A building is made up of different spaces that help create a sense of flow and movement. There can be many different types of spaces in a building that has its own characteristics and requirements. In OpenStudio, space types can be used to define internal loads, schedule sets, and construction sets. The spaces assigned a certain space type inherits all objects of the space type.
